Dear supporters of MAXINE Debra,

With a background child development, counselling and law, I recognised very early that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. Like most not-for-profit founders I have a long history of tirelessly working hard to support the needs of others sometimes to my own detriment.

The reward for me has always been enough; knowing that I have made a positive difference in someone’s life no matter how little. This is a quality I gained from my mother Maxine who was a pillar in her community - always offering support and advice to those around her. I would often speak to her for hours, discussing what we could do to ease the suffering of others.  In honour of this truly wonderful strong and giving woman, this organisation will continue to support society as she did. The most important thing we will do is listen to you. Sometimes that’s all people need, just to know that they are being heard.

Due to the demand of my time in supporting others and my evolving career commitments, this not-for-profit service allows me to compartmentalise my obligations whilst delivering support to the community based on my growing experience. As this organisation continues to grow, I am confident that we will be able to expand on our goal to support others in a wider capacity.
 

But for now, you can be assured that I genuinely care about your needs and understand that the everyday stressors of what we call life, can get on top of us and make managing simple tasks difficult. In this regard, MAXINE Debra will do its very best to provide you with the powerful tools to take back control of your life.
